BOXING & FITNESS
All skill levels are welcome to these classes; from beginners to experienced boxers.
Our 60 minute group fitness classes combine cardio, strength, and boxing technique. They will increase your endurance and skill by providing a boxing oriented workout. Typical group fitness classes will include a warm-up, shadow boxing, mitt work, bag work, technical skills, and strengthening exercises. Our group fitness classes are non-contact. No boxing experience required. We integrate basic skills into every class. Hand wraps and boxing gloves required. Ages 13 and up.
Advanced Boxing
Our advanced level boxing classes build on boxing fundamentals introduced and taught in group fitness classes. We will cover footwork, defense, head movement, effective punching, and more to improve sparring and technical ability. This class involves contact boxing and has strict prerequisites for attendance including: Six months of boxing experience at ECBG or direct approval from our head coach, Russell. Headgear, Mouthguard, and 16 oz boxing gloves are required.
These sessions are a great way to learn boxing, improve technique, and center your unique goals. 30 or 60 minute one-on-one sessions offer personalized attention leading to faster progression while developing everything from fundamental boxing skills to specific advanced technique. Our coaches provide strong structure and knowledgable insight by meeting you where you're at and prioritizing your growth.
Beginners welcome and encouraged! These sessions are a great introduction to boxing and provide a solid foundation to maximize your workout and continue your boxing journey.
Open gym is the use of the equipment within our facility for your own workout. Our gym features quality, clean, up-to-date fitness and boxing equipment. Open gym is available anytime during business hours. Some of our equipment includes: treadmills, stationary bikes, an elliptical, Smith Press, bench press, free weights, 11 heavy bags, 2 speed bags, 2 double end bags, a full sized boxing ring, and more! Whether you want a boxing, cardio, or strength focused workout, we've got something for you. Sparring permitted during open gym hours with permission of a coach, headgear, mouthguard, and 16 oz gloves.
