On March 15, Emerald City Boxing Gym was closed down per state mandate to combat the spread of COVID-19 in our community. We have been happy to do our part. Washington state has announced a phased re-opening plan in which gyms are slated for phase 3. However, we can open on a very limited basis in phase 2 for lessons and very small group fitness classes. Phase 2 began June 20, 2020. We are open for small group fitness classes and private lessons at this time

As Washington begins to reopen, the state is creating guidelines for businesses to follow. We are happy to be adhering to all the guidelines and then some. Upon reopening, all fitness equipment will be spaced to adhere to social distancing guidelines and cleaned after every use. We will continue to clean and sanitize often and keep fans going and doors open for maximum airflow. If you have any other suggestions, we would love to hear them.
COVID-19 related closures have effected just about everybody in this country. Small businesses have been hit especially hard. While some financial relief has been available, it has not been enough and it has been hard to come by.
We have launched a couple different fundraising efforts. If you feel so inclined, we are accepting any help our community has to offer.
